If you had a choice to nominate the worst action figure company out there, who would it be? There’s some really great stuff currently being produced in larger scales (12″ and 18″) as well as in the smaller scales (4″ and 6″). One of the standouts is the new Mezco 18″ Hellboy 2 figure. He’s awesome whether or not you’re even into that scale. The level of detail is great.

“Professional” toy grading and why it STINKS
Wednesday, June 4th, 2008I have no love for the so called professional toy graders. I watched for years as baseball cards and then comic books steadily grew in “value” because of some stupid book telling people how much they were worth. Once it got to the point that new comics STILL ON THE SALES RACK were being priced above what the actual cover price was, I quit collecting comics. That wasn’t the only reason (I’m looking at you Marvel…yes you with all the stupid crossover nonsense), but the price of comics was definitely a big part of it.
